The kids were up bright and early, so they played games on the computer and let me sleep a little more. After spending the morning at Mt. Rushmore we drove the rest of the way to Colorado.
Can’t you tell my kids LOVE taking pictures?

For Spring Break this year we decided to drive to Colorado and visit my parents. But because of a snow storm we decided the night before to stay north and go to Mt. Rushmore on our way. Our trip definitely started out slow. I think we stopped about every 45 minutes. Here are a couple of our stops along the way. We drove into town to see this Corn Palace but by the time we got there it was closed! We eventually made it to Wall, South Dakota where we spent the night.
Kenny’s latest field trip was to Ann Braue’s Canine Training Center. Kenny definitely wanted to bring a dog home.
Kenny did not get glasses. They are Dana’s; he wanted to be like Ty.
In celebration of Kenny’s friend Ty getting glasses I thought I would try to get a cute picture of them together. Ha – they are experts of not looking at the camera.
While Dana spent the day in meetings we went to the indoor amusement park and did some swimming.
Emma’s life is GYMNASTICS! This year Emma’s gymnastic team isn’t competing and instead focusing on new skills instead of routines. Although Emma misses competing this year it has been amazing all the new things she has learned. These pictures are from her teams “mock meet” or “muscle meet” where they did mostly level 4 skills.
Here you can watch Emma’s Floor Routine.
